Your privacy is important to us. How do we protect your information?

We take great care to protect your personally identifiable information. This includes, among other things, using industry standard techniques such as firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection and site monitoring. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personally identifiable information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or receive from us. We have no way of protecting that information until it reaches us. Once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our servers. We do mask all identities in all reports sent thru email, therefore, no full identities are ever sent to our clients.

Internally, we will restrict access to your personally identifiable information to employees who need only require access to the information in order to do their jobs. These employees are limited in number, and are committed to our privacy policies.

Also your information is not available from any web browser and our clients do not perform searches against any of our data or our vendor's information. Only research is conducted on those providing signed releases and Cluso Investigation LLC oversees every background ensuring compliance is met.

We also lock with encryption all archived reports for further security. After a report is completed and archived (within 1 month of completion) only the Managing Director can unlock the report for viewing. No private data is stored locally without encryption.

What is personally identifiable information?

"Personally identifiable information" is information about you, such as name, address, e-mail address, social security number, and so on.

How is information collected, used, and disclosed?

We do not collect and store personal information unless you sign a release to perform a background. If you have voluntarily provided information, you consented to the collection and use of your personally identifiable information as described in this Privacy Statement. Cluso Investigation LLC only provides this information to the initiating company holding the release and yourself. We do not sell or rent personal information collected through this site or via our research process to anyone.

What are cookies and how are they used?

We do not collect cookies from our web site and we do not allow logging into personally identifiable information including client information via a web browser.

What are your choices regarding collection, use, and distribution of your information?

If you have voluntarily provided personally identifiable information we will not disseminate or provide that information to another other organization besides the company holding the release you have signed.

How can you correct, access, and update your information?

You may receive a report copy at any time. Dispute or questions on the information may be directed to sales@cluso.com. We will contact you quickly to get your attempt to get your issue resolved quickly or answer any questions you may have. We follow FCRA and handle disputes quickly for least impact to yourself and the employer.

A Note About Client Confidentiality?

Our clients are held in strict confidence. We only provide references to other potential clients with permission from our clients and only under agreed terms acceptable by our clients. Our existing clients and the security of their candidate/employee information is our number one priority.
